The stadium has a distinct lotus flower design, inspired by the endemic flower and Guangzhou s reputation as the flower city . With a capacity of 100,000 seats it will become the world s largest football-specific stadium, just surpassing Camp Nou . Guangzhou Evergrande Stadium is getting built in the south of the city of Guangzhou next to Guangzhou South Railway Station.
